98 Octane was proud to attend the 14th Annual Heroes Appreciation BBQ, hosted by the Heroes Resource Center at Reunion Ranch Event Venue in Georgetown, Texas.
Veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and families came together for a day of BBQ, live music, swimming, paddle boats, inflatables, and community.
For 98 Octane, this is exactly where the mission lives.
We showed up to talk, connect, educate, listen, and meet people where they are.
Were people drinking soda and eating hotdogs? Absolutely.
And that’s okay.
Because nobody starts at the finish line. The mission is not to shame people into better health. The mission is to show up, plant the seed, hand over the tools, and help our heroes take the next step.
One conversation at a time.
One connection at a time.
One hero at a time.
A huge thank you to the Heroes Resource Center for the invitation and for creating a space where the veteran, active-duty, first responder, and family communities could come together.
Special thanks to Joe Fisher, 98 Octane Director of Operations, for continuing to show up, lead from the front, and represent the mission in the community.
This is the work.
LET’S GO.
