Battle of Brothers

Before starting Battle of the Brothers, Tom was physically and mentally drained and completely out of shape. His days were built around ultra-processed food. As he put it, “My eating routine was very poor. Mostly processed meals three times a day. Dunkin’ Donuts for breakfast, fast food for lunch, and whatever my family decided to order out for dinner.”

Tom’s time as a First Responder

The biggest obstacle was simply starting. Tom had no structure and did not know how to cook. A few weeks into the program, things began to shift. “I realized how much better I felt once I started meal prepping and cutting the CRAP. Candy, refined and processed foods, grains, alcohol, and soda.” What surprised him most was not just the weight loss, but “the actual relief from pain and inflammation in my body.”

As the small wins stacked, the changes compounded. Tommy cut out fast food entirely, eliminated soda, and began paying close attention to food labels. “I’m paying more attention to the fuel I put in my body,” he shared.

Today, at 37, Tom says he is in the best shape of his life physically and mentally. “My energy is through the roof, and I actually have a sleep schedule,” something he did not have before due to pain and discomfort caused by what he describes as “bad gas I was putting into my tank.”

Tom’s First 98 Octane Cohort

What he is most proud of goes beyond himself. “I’m most proud of how it’s affecting my household,” Tom said. By breaking health down into simple, understandable steps, his family began making changes together. “It feels great knowing my loved ones are not being poisoned by these large food chains and their harmful ingredients. It’s that much easier when the whole house is on board and paying attention to labels.”

When asked what he would tell someone on the fence, his answer is simple and direct. “What do you have to lose other than stubborn body fat, a cloudy mind, and aching joints?” For Tom, taking control of his health means everything. “God has given me another chance at life, and I will make the best of my health.”

This is the ripple effect of 98 Octane. One person commits, a family follows, and a community gets stronger.
